Data Collection:
We will take a close look at Google Doc Form (http://google.com) with its collaboration feature and PollEverywhere (https://www.polleverywhere.com
) .  Both webtools have apps. 8)

Then, we will focus on the virtual manipulatives at the  National Library of Virtual Manipulatives:  http://nlvm.usu.edu for Geometry.  The Common Core Standards focusing on the student's ability to: 1.Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. 2. Reason abstractly and quantitatively. 3. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. 4. Model with mathematics 5. Use appropriate tools strategically. 6. Attend to precision. 7. Look for and make use of structure.  and 8. Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. With these in mind, we will think toward assessment and look at Voki (http://voki.com). Voki is a FREE service that lets you: Create customized avatars. Add voice to your
Voki avatars. Post your Voki to any blog, website, or profile.

What are parallel lines?

Another tool to be used in assessment is VoiceThread (VT). VT is a Web2.0 tool  to create cloud conversations.  The tool allows uploading of still images or video clicks, voiceover, doodle, callout and title frame.  A VT could be created my the students to show what they have learn.
