Since then, the digital pictures were selected and the assignment continued. They were encouraged to download the PhotoStory3 software and play with it. A JobAid was given, along with some examples. They were encouraed to search the Web for additional examples (see below) of the use of PhotoStory3 in the classroom. Posts on Bb DIscussions board reflected their progress. Comments included:
-"It look like so much fun!"
-"I can think of some ways I can use it in my classroom, and for gifts, too!"
- "It looks so professional!"
-"It reminds me of iMovie! I am a MAC girl!"
So...exciting! They moved through several barriers, downloaded the software and moved forward. As the assignment unfolds, these preservice teachers will take their pictures and write a digital autobiography.
I am ready for them to make it happen and share their progress and results!
