Welcome to EDU510!
Reminder: Since July 5th is a holiday, our class will begin on Tuesday, July 6.
............................................
We are getting ready to take off! I am very excited about the class. I hope you are, too!
As stated in an earlier email, there is not a textbook. However, you will need a headset for class. These can be purchased the first night of class for $10. If you aready have one, feel free to bring it and see if it is compatible with the computers in the lab.
You will need a flashdrive, as well. I suggest you have a 3-ring binder and dividers for organizing handouts.
For working outside of class, you will need a computer with access to the Internet, a mic (either internal or external) and speakers (internal or external). You must be able to access Blackboard (http://eclass.uu.edu) and your UU email (http://webmail.uu.edu)
Check your UU email daily! This is UU's form of communication to you!
Blackboard (Bb) with be used to support this course!
Go to: http://eclass.uu.edu Explore the resources on Bb's Home page! ;)
The course will not be available in Blackboard (http://eclass.uu.edu) until July 7 (midnight).
We will use THIS SPOT (http://redclif.weebly.com) to connect and stay connected, until we are able to access Blackboard.
I will begin to post the earlier assignments so you can begin to plan accordingly.
Check back, often!

Feel free to respond to any of the comments ... ;)
Class collaboration is important!
Looking forward to receiving your info ... ASAP! :)
